eSIM technology: a promising trend for your business

The SC.RSP platform for preparing, delivering, storing and managing of eSIM profiles has been successfully supplied to Asian and CIS countries for a long time. Recently, we shared our experience of installing such a system for one of the clients.

eSIM technology provides users with more flexibility and freedom in using mobile services, which is especially convenient when traveling, changing operators or using multiple numbers on one smartphone. The digital card built into the device replaces the physical SIM card, supports multiple operators, and maintains special protection against physical damage.

Some operators have been using our system for many years and they regularly order updates. Quite recently, we released another set of eSIM profiles for a client.

Particular focus in this technology is placed on the eSIM_check module, whose main function is to notify users that their devices support eSIM. In this case, the subscriber can replace a SIM card upon personal request under a contract for the provision of mobile communication services.

These days, eSIM technology is among the most promising areas in the mobile services market. SC.Soft also keeps up with trends and always strives to develop cooperation with our partners, offering the most modern solutions.

If you are just planning a collaboration, and if the SC.RSP platform seems to be interesting for you, we suggest you make the first step to explore eSIM. You just need to submit a request, and we will provide you with some eSIM profiles for free. Try and share your results!

Building a national IMEI registration system that works: lessons from live deployments

Registering mobile devices by IMEI has become a mainstream instrument of digital policy. Such systems now operate in dozens of countries under different names — NEIR in Bangladesh, DIRBS in Pakistan, CEIR in India, national IMEI registration in Uzbekistan — yet they address the same core task, and are known in the industry collectively as a Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR). For regulators and operators weighing one, the practical question is how to design a system that delivers measurable results without creating friction for subscribers.

Product Life Cycle in Practice: Managing the Maturity of SMSC

When people talk about the Product Life Cycle, they usually picture the textbook curve: launch, growth, maturity, decline. In practice it is not a graph but a specific moment when a decision has to be made about a product that still works but no longer matches the reality of the market.

Fraud prevention is more critical than ever — and our platform is ready

Telecom fraud is one of the fastest-growing threats in the industry. MEF, GSMA, and regional regulators worldwide are dedicating increasing attention to the issue: round tables, working groups, and new legislative frameworks are emerging across Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe.
