Engineers from one of our operator clients recently spent several days with us for in-person training on the platforms they run. The program was designed around a practical goal: once back home, the team should be able to operate the system confidently on their own, troubleshoot unexpected situations faster, and make full use of the capabilities built into the platform during deployment.
Time was split roughly equally between theory and practice. Practical sessions were built around the client’s real operating scenarios, and when a task calls for it, we set up a separate test environment so engineers can work with configurations freely without touching the production system. The program also included a preview of features from the upcoming platform release, which gave the client’s team a chance to get familiar with them and raise questions before the release went live.
Sessions were led by specialists from three teams. Lead engineers walked through the platform’s architecture and design logic, QA engineers covered how the system behaves in atypical situations, and technical support staff went through common support cases and diagnostic approaches. For the client, this means their engineers now have direct contacts with the people responsible for different parts of the platform and a clear sense of whom to reach out to with which question, which matters all the more when vendor and operator are in different time zones.
We also set aside a separate session for questions about our other solutions outside the core program, so the visiting team could cover everything on their agenda in a single trip. Every participant received a certificate on completing the training.
For operators considering our solutions, we offer team training as part of the deployment, with the format and content tailored to each client’s objectives and engineering team. If you’d like to understand how knowledge transfer would work for your project, we’d be glad to walk you through it.
