A transit SMSC for a European MNO

We have supplied one more transit SMS Center to our European customers, this time in Italy.

First, let us remind you what this platform is.

The SMS Center controls delivering messages both from subscriber to subscriber (P2P) and from company to subscriber (A2P). It consists of modules and even has a free out-of-the-box version allowing customers to estimate its capabilities! You can learn more here: https://soft.sc/smsc

We and our Italian customer have been cooperating for more than six years. Their business is mainly A2P messaging. The software they used provided messaging via SMPP, but it did not via SS7 channels.

After installing the SC.Transit SMSC platform with little customization, our customer has significantly extended their subscriber base by interacting with mobile operators and messaging via SS7.
