Ease of use

All SMSC operations are performed on the web interface.

The platform has built-in documentation and configuration versioning. Modern monitoring tools for Grafana and Prometheus are also available.

Cluster Architecture Reliability

Cluster systems achieve high system performance and efficiency. If a node fails, another node in the cluster will take over the load of the failed node and users will not notice the failure.

SMSC has a modular architecture. SMSC applies popular stateful solutions: Redis cluster and PostgeSQL + Patroni. Cluster controller provides quorum (split brain excluded) and distributed locks to automate load balancing.

High throughput and scalability

To improve performance, the platform architecture can scale horizontally by increasing the number of clusters/servers that are combined by a single internal routing system so that the load is divided more evenly. The same type of modules evenly distribute the workload.

The platform allows you to separate the processing of both SS7 (3G) and Diameter (4G) traffic and SMPP traffic.

Georeservation is supported (if the customer has the technical capability).

Extensive integration opportunities

Using standard SMPP 3.3, 3.4, 5.0. Communication. SMSC can be integrated with various third-party applications and systems.

SMS Center supports Diameter communication.

Flexible business logic management

Business logic is mapped to Lua scripts that are part of the configuration.

Message routing is configured as a table or as a visual editor. The ability to self-route a message is supported, which allows you to evaluate the operation of scripts without actually sending messages to the network.

Support for today’s cloud technologies

The solution supports common virtual environments: VMWare, KVM, etc.
