SC.Soft has released a functional update to its USSDC platform, expanding operators' capabilities for launching and developing USSD-based services.
The USSD scenario builder now supports unlimited menu nesting depth and handling of user input within dialog sessions. This allows operators to implement complex, multi-step services — from surveys to balance operations — without needing vendor involvement for every new configuration.
Dynamic and context-aware scenario processing has also been added: USSD menu content is now generated based on tariff plan, subscriber type, and data retrieved from billing systems. In practice, this means different subscriber groups can be shown different offers and services under the same USSD code, without duplicating scenario logic.
Integration with external systems via REST API (JSON/XML) has been extended: service provisioning, tariff plan changes, and balance top-ups can now be completed directly within a USSD session, in real time. This shortens the subscriber’s path from request to result and reduces the load on adjacent service channels.
Debugging tools have also been added for integration teams — including extended scenario execution tracing and REST request/response logging — making it easier and faster to roll out new services on the operator’s side.
