The latest update of SC.Soft's OTA platform introduces a set of enhancements aimed at simplifying SIM management and improving the efficiency of OTA campaigns.
One of the key improvements is the ability to execute OTA tasks based on subscriber activity. Commands are now delivered when a SIM card becomes active in the network, eliminating the need to relaunch campaigns. This is particularly useful for inactive SIMs or cards in stock, as updates are applied automatically upon first network registration.
The platform also features a more flexible segmentation logic. OTA campaigns can be configured using a combination of parameters — including SIM profile, profile groups, packages, and installed applications. This enables more precise targeting and helps reduce unnecessary network load.
In addition, a marker mechanism has been introduced to track the current state of each SIM card. This provides better visibility into applied changes and helps avoid duplicate operations.
To streamline service deployment, an APDU command generator has been added. Java Card applet installation can now be configured as a ready-to-use OTA task without manual command assembly.
As a result, operators gain a more controlled and predictable SIM management process, reduced operational effort, and more reliable OTA delivery.
