One of the leading mobile operators in the CIS has completed an upgrade of its Device Management System (DMS), which has been successfully operating in its network for several years. The new version delivers higher performance, expanded analytics capabilities, and a modern user interface.
The DMS platform automatically configures subscribers' mobile devices to enable services such as mobile internet, MMS, and other operator offerings. Configuration settings are sent immediately after a new device appears in the network, eliminating the need for manual setup and reducing the workload on customer support teams.
The upgraded version introduces an advanced analytics module that provides detailed statistics on subscriber devices, including LTE, 5G, and eSIM support, operating system type, and other parameters. The new web interface makes working with data more convenient and visually intuitive.
Among the technological improvements are the transition to open-source software, the removal of Oracle dependencies, and optimized event-processing mechanisms that enhance system reliability and performance under high loads.
The updated DMS is already operating in the operator’s network and demonstrates stable performance. The new version enables more efficient network planning, data-driven marketing strategies, and improved quality of service for subscribers.
